Sports and right nutrition can prevent from cronic desease. A study from germany shows a 78 % lower risk of developing such a desease. Four key factors are essential:
1. never smoking,
2. having a body mass index lower than 30 (calculated as weight in kilograms divided
by height in meters squared),
3. performing 3.5 h/wk or more of physical activity, and
4. adhering to healthy dietary principles (high intake of fruits, vegetables, and
whole-grain bread and low meat consumption).
